HENN LIU

Born in Taipei in 1990, HENN LIU graduated from the Department of Fashion Design at Shih Chien University. Her artistic practice engages with the contemporary conditions of digital civilization and spirituality, exploring human vulnerability and the paradoxical relationship between dependence and escape across virtual and physical realities.

Transforming acute observations of contemporary society into a poetic visual language, HENN LIU creates immersive psychological and spiritual landscapes through layered applications of fluorescent acrylics and mineral pigments. Her works reflect the complex interplay and fluidity of human emotions within an increasingly interconnected world.

For Liu, painting is a ritual of reclaiming personal agency. Through luminous and subtle surreal narratives, she seeks to offer spaces of healing and contemplation while bringing a unique vitality to the world.
